Dinadiawan Beach in Dipaculao, Aurora is a laid-back white sand beach that’s one hour’s drive away from Baler. It’s a great place to escape and relax if you’re already exhausted from surfing the large waves of Sabang Beach. The waves here are much gentler and peaceful. Perhaps because of the protection of a nearby extension land in Casiguran. This extension of land is positioned in front of Dinadiawan—blocking the large waves coming from the open sea.
It’s really nice to see a wonderful beach like this in Aurora. I didn’t expect to see a white sand beach in this part of the region when we first got here. I thought that all of the beaches here would be like in Bataan considering how exposed it is to the open sea. At least we know now that visitors of Aurora have another fun way to enjoy the beach that is more child-friendly. Kids will have a great time building sandcastles in its wide stretch of fine white sands.
We saw a certain part of the beach where fresh waters from a river seem to go down the sea. I could be wrong because there was a recent typhoon that may have caused a temporary water build-up and part of it is now flowing down to the sea. It’s a relief to see up close that the flowing water is clean and clear instead of the filthy ones coming from a bad drainage system.
Dinadiawan Agri Beach Resort
Perhaps the rise of Baler’s tourism helped Dinadiawan beach become more popular because several resorts have sprung up here. We went to Dinadiawan Agri Beach Resort in particular and it prides itself to have been visited by tourists from countries like the UK, Korea, Australia, Russia, Japan, Canada and China. They also made a poster of the list of Filipino celebrities who visited their resort. Dinadiawan Agri Beach Resort delights its visitors with a list of fun activities like kayaking, banana boat riding, snorkeling, island hopping and a tour to Pamwasan Cove.
If we only found out about this resort prior to booking our Baler trip, we would have booked an extra night here since it’s just a short travel from Sabang Beach. Walking barefoot along the shore of this beach’s long stretch early in the morning or during the afternoon would be ideal. A relaxing and therapeutic kind of light exercise. Try not to miss this place when visiting Aurora province.
