Explorer’s Tip:
Cambodia is accepting U.S. dollars everywhere. We were able to buy items on the streets using USD like it’s their local money. There’s no need to get your money exchanged.
Everyone speaks in English even the kids that were selling us some postcards. There’s no need to bring a translation list.
The cheapest way to tour the area is by booking a Tuk Tuk.
Be careful of most of their bottled water. I was already warned by our Tuk Tuk driver about it and we saw with our own eyes how some of them have tiny insects inside even if they’re sealed. The bottled water that we were drinking were the ones recommended by the hotel.
In all of the countries that we visited so far, we found our trip to Cambodia to be the most convenient of all. It’s a great country to visit first in Asia for first-time travelers.
